June Poem/ Justice

June Poem/ Justice

Justice / June 2020
Buds and Blooms,  I hear you
cracking through the Earth and mud.
Yelling out my name
to slow down, like you,
           gives me shame.
I rush to incubate, but it’s always too late
Now, I discriminate
on the choices I make.
Decision is to Cut Off and Cut Through,
               a simpler Be, Do.
